Easter Weekend

'It is the sun shining on the rain and the rain falling on the sunshine…’” from The Secret Garden.

And so with a spring in our step we are excited to bring you a feast of Spring Rotisserie Lamb and early season vegetables. Set menu is priced at £45 per person and will include the below, we will be offering a vegetarian set menu with an alternative main course. See below for details.

Bread + oil

Mozzarella, courgette agrodolce + almonds

Rotissrerie lamb shoulder

Vignarola - a braise of Italian spring vegetables

Rosemary + garlic roast potatoes

(Veggie Main) Vignarola risotto + Insalata mista

Blood orange + walnut semi freddo

Bookings available from 6:30-7:30pm for Friday and Saturday evening, 12:00-3:30pm for Sunday Lunch.

Steak Night

Our next steak night at Le vin Perdu will be on the 11th April, as with our last steak nights we will be receiving some special bio-dymanic beef from our friends at the Apricot Centre. This time we will be focusing on local produce from the surrounding areas., seasonal produce to pair with prime cuts. The cuts on offer will be emailed out on the 10th April for you to preselect and reserve your preferred cut. Cuts, weights and prices all differ and so we emphasise the importance of pre-selection to ensure you get the price and weight you’d like.

Bookings available from 6:30 - 7:30PM.

Some of our dining is counter seating at the bar, this will be stool seating - please check your reservation or make a request if you’d prefer a table only.

Taking ingredients sourced from across Devon and the south west to deliver buckwheat galettes, sweet crêpes, and local ciders. Expect the flavours of Devon delivered with a Brittany flare.

Fish Night A La Francais

With spring just around the corner, we’re celebrating with an evening dedicated to one of our favourite ingredients. A night of simple plates and whole roasted or chargrilled local fresh fish. White tablecloths, chilled and crisp white wine and a taste of the sea.

This is an a la carte menu and the selection of fish will be dependent on what has been caught locally. We will be emailing out a list of available fish the day before the event, if you would like to reserve something do let us know and we can put it aside for you. This will be on a first come - first served basis, so if you are looking for something specific, keep an eye on your inbox.

Valentines Day Dinner

We’re hosting a one-night only special Valentine’s Supper at Le Vin Perdu - candlelight, the warm glow of a log burner, great wine, and a menu to indulge.

Starting with a little appetiser of cured sea trout with fennel remoulade, before moving onto fazzoletti with crab, then confit duck leg with braised leeks, haricot beans, hazelnuts and tarragon. Dessert is a white chocolate mousse with poached rhubarb and pistachios — bright, creamy, and quietly decadent. A small curated wine list offers some classic wines or Champagne.
